New Service User Engagement Worker Appointed - Adele McCormack has been appointed as the new Service User Engagement Worker and starts on the 3rd August 2009. This post is funded by Cambridgeshire County Council and NHS Cambridgeshire for Mental Health Services. This is a very exciting development and we anticipate Adele making contact with service user forums and organisations soon. Adele will be employed by Hunts Mind but will be supported in her role by a Partnership Group including Cam Mind, Peterborough and Fenland Mind and Lifecraft. She will also be advising the Working Together for Recovery website editorial group. The commissioners Joan Harding and John Ellis are very keen to have active service user involvement in all our work and will be keen to see some real improvement in the way service users are consulted.
